Description
Access and review clinical practice and practice statements. Submit for AUA review and approval. Track guideline development progress. Collaborate with physicians on guideline panels. Receive support from the Practice Committee.
The AUA Guidelines Department produces Clinical Practice Guidelines and Best Practice Statements. The Department also facilitates AUA review and approval of guidelines developed by outside organizations as needed. In addition, The AUA Guidelines Department provides staff support for the Practice Guidelines Committee, a physician committee that serves as a resource to the Guidelines Department and guideline panels. Because of their clinical expertise, members of the Committee may advise other AUA departments as well.
