The app offers a free VoIP client and instant messenger supporting SIP, IAX, GVoice, Facebook, GTalk, and Jabber accounts. Users can log in with existing credentials to stay connected across multiple services with a searchable local chat archive.
YateClient is a free Voip Client (SIP / IAX / GVoice) and Instant Messenger (Facebook / GTalk / Jabber), with it you're permanently connected on multiple chat and telephony accounts.
YateClient supports:
• SIP / IAX / Jingle calls** and services
• Free US and Canada calls from your Gmail account to GVoice
• GTalk, Facebook chat**, Jabber accounts – all in one clean and friendly interface
• Unlimited accounts – no need to sign up and make another account, just log in with your credentials and you're connected.
• Searchable chat archive – chat messages are stored locally and you can search for specific keywords in either the current session, for a certain contact, or the entire archive.
**Voice calls and group chats not supported on Facebook.**
