GeoGuess is the original community-powered geography game: real photos sent in by real travelers since 2011, no ads and no trackers. Look at a photo, drop a pin on the map and see how close you were.
Every scene comes from a real explorer, so no two rounds are the same, and you learn something about the world every time.
WAYS TO PLAY
- Classic: five rounds, no timer, points for distance.
- Play by region: practice on one continent or country at a time.
- Survival: guess well to keep your lives and climb as far as you can.
- Daily Challenge: one photo a day for everyone, a streak to protect, and a note you can leave for the next player.
- The Cup: a ten day competition, three sets of five photos, every guess sealed until the cup closes.
- Head to head: ranked 1v1 duels with tiers and their own leaderboard.
- Party: live rooms with friends, join by code, with Knockout for a free-for-all.
- Community games: photo sets made by other players, or build your own.
CLIMB AND COLLECT
- Weekly and season leaderboards, national teams, and a friends filter to see who is ahead.
- XP, levels, badges and trophies, plus a day by day activity chart on your profile.
- Streaks with freezes, so one busy day does not cost you everything.
- Coins to spend on frames, nameplates, banners and Lettering for your name.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS
- Follow people, share a puzzle-style result block, and invite your friends.
YOUR PHOTOS
- Upload your own travel photos and watch the world guess them.
Sign in with a passkey, Google or Apple. Available in 14 languages, and the same account works on geoguess.com.
