Description
The app provides speech exercise videos for individuals with aphasia, apraxia, or dysarthria. It focuses on tongue and lip movements for consonant blends, allowing users to customize video order and repetition.
SmallTalk Consonant Blends is a speech exercise video app. It is designed to help anyone who has suffered a stroke or a traumatic brain injury and presents with aphasia, apraxia, and/or dysarthria. It can also be used by individuals who present similar language impairments.
The series of individual speech-exercise videos is divided into standard consonant blends and final consonant blends. The videos show the tongue and lip movements necessary to product constant blends like “bl” or “str”.
You can easily rearrange the order of the videos or remove others to make it simpler to focus on key consonant blends. Repeat each exercise as often as you would like. Then, reset the app to return to original settings.
