Simply enter the property's sales price and the app instantly calculates the basic Texas Title Insurance Premium, a one-time fee paid at closing. The rate is promulgated by the Texas Department of Insurance, effective 3/1/2026, and all title companies are required to charge the same premiums for title insurance. The basic rate calculations are the same across all property and transaction types.
