Welder Qualification Tracker (WQT) is a system & application-based program that can help resolve the headaches that come with monitoring and maintaining welder qualification and standard compliance. WQT Is a database that allows company’s and contractors to streamline and reduce Quality Assurance cost and work. In the world of certified and qualified welding, it is a requirement of most Standards to qualify and prequalify welders to their own unique Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) every six months.The WQT App is the answer to your headaches. By controlling and automatically notifying both the company and the welders personal app 30 days before the qualification expiration date. Allowing continuation of qualification to be maintained seamlessly well reducing cost. 1/ Feature: Welder Qualification Records Welders need requalification every six months meaning requalification is required at different times for the unique WPS’s the WQT app will track and notify the company & welder within 30 days of the expiry date. 2/ Feature: Accessibility Your company can upload specific secure procedures & qualifications to the welder immediately on their phone. A welder can be audited at any time and provide the WPS and welder qualification on their phone. 3/ Feature: Notifications When a welder qualification is due to expire a notification is sent from the WQT App to the company & welder. NDT reports of jobs welded by the welder to the required WPS will requalify the welder for six months. 4/ Feature: Welding Quality Assurance Welders will always have their required up to date welder qualifications on hand that can be shared with inspectors or project QA as required, making for compliant work practice.
