Description
Use a virtual microscope to examine samples and identify tissue types. Cut samples from succulent, onion, celery, and elodea plants. Recognize xylem, phloem, sclerenchyma, collenchyma, parenchyma, apical , stomata, and cuticle.
This simulation recreates a biology laboratory in which you will need to identify different types of plant tissues using a microscope. You will be given four plants: a succulent plant, an onion plant, a celery plant and an elodea plant, and you will need to take a sample of each one using the scalpel. The types of tissues that you may identify are: xylem and phloem, sclerenchyma, collenchyma, parenchyma, apical tissues, apical meristem, stomata and cuticle.
