When you need a non-standard resistor value it can be achieved by series or parallel connection of two standard resistors. But calculating all possible combinations is a time-consuming task.
This tool calculates, which two standard resistors, series or parallel connection gives a closer approximation to a desired value of resistance using E12 (10%) or E24 (5%) series of resistors.
