As a volunteer-powered, noncommercial radio station our mission is to provide listeners everywhere with a distinctive radio listening experience. The station is owned and operated by Public Radio for the Front Range and our programming is composed of a diverse group of volunteer DJs, whose genres are as distinctive as they are. KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins serves music and public affairs aficionados featuring an eclectic mix of in-person, broadcast and online programming. Focused on local, public affairs, we provide an information source for northern Colorado. Our facilities in the heart of The Music District in Fort Collins allows KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins to host a wide variety of community events and produce hundreds of live performances—many of which are open to the public at no charge.
