Description
The club originated in the late 1920s and was formally established in 1930, with the original clubhouse constructed shortly thereafter. Course development progressed over time, with an 18-hole layout opening in 1950, an additional nine holes added in 1964, and a further nine holes completed in 1991.
Between 2014 and 2018, the Gateway Upgrade Project resumed 8 hectares, affecting seven holes of the course. The club is currently undergoing redevelopment under the direction of course architect James Wilcher of Golf By Design. During this redevelopment period, the facility operates as a 27-hole complex comprising three courses: Bay, Brook, and Gateway, with plans to return to two 18-hole courses.
