Now featuring optimized filtering for each V1 platform, giving you:
• Advanced muting for your V1 Gen1 radar detector.
• Complimentary muting for your V1 Gen2 radar detector.
V1 Companion™'s muting systems have now been optimized specifically for each V1 platform. If you have a V1 Gen1 detector, new muting routines will give you some of the benefits of the advanced filtering seen from the next gen detectors available today. These new filters will mute unwanted signals, giving you a much quieter ride while still enjoying your legacy detector.
“V1 Companion™” Features:
• Optimized filtering specific to each V1 platform.
• Advanced BSM/CAS/Ka False Muting.
• 'Ghost' muting for when you are stuck behind a vehicle emitting false radar signals.
• Ka false muting from older, cheaper detectors.
• Automatic connection to Bluetooth enabled V1 radar locators (V1 and V1G2 supported).
• "Passive Mute™" - Quiets the V1 below user set speeds and during weak K and X signals.
• "Visual Awareness™" - Flashes the V1 display while the "Passive Mute™" system is active, keeping the driver aware of an alert while maintaining a quiet ride.
• Priority "Visual Awareness™" - Rapidly flash V1 display during Ka signals after mute.
• "Urgency Alerts™" - Unmutes growing threats and announces urgency via voice and notifications.
