Description
Gas Membrane simulates the separation of gaseous components in a multicomponent mixture using a membrane module. The membrane models correspond to hollow fiber assemblies arranged with feed/permeate flowing in three configurations: co-current, countercurrent and radial cross-flow. This simulator allows engineers to understand the internal composition and pressure profiles within the membrane module, in addition to calculating the effluent stream compositions and rates. Results are displayed numerically and graphically, and the entire dataset from the simulation can be saved to a CSV file that can be imported to various programs such as Excel, Numbers and MATLAB.
