Description
Sunnah Helper keeps you mindful of your prayers and of the voluntary good deeds of the Sunnah — with accurate prayer times, reminders you set yourself, and a little of the deen to read each day. It works offline, and it works without an account.
Prayer times
• Times for wherever you are, from 16 calculation methods — Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, ISNA, Diyanet, Karachi, Egypt, Tehran, Jafari and more, or your own angles — with the method chosen for your country automatically, and kept right if you move.
• Asr madhab (Standard/Hanafi), high-latitude rules, and a manual adjustment for every prayer.
• A monthly timetable at a glance, and a Hijri calendar with sunset-start and date adjustment.
• Qibla on a live compass and on a map, with the bearing from north and the distance to Makkah.
Reminders that are yours
• Thirteen deeds set up for you, each of them yours to switch off: the five daily prayers, Tahajjud, fasting (Mondays and Thursdays, the white days, Arafah, Ashura, six of Shawwal, the first nine of Dhul-Hijjah), Duha, Witr, Surah al-Kahf on Fridays, morning and evening adhkar, the daily hadith, the names of Allah, the daily ayah, the companions, Zakat and the two Eids.
• Every reminder is editable: fire it relative to a prayer (Maghrib − 30) or at a fixed time, pin it to a day of the Hijri month, choose the sound, or write your own.
• Add deeds of your own.
• A prayer reminder tells you the confirmed sunnah rak'ahs that go with it — and names Jumu'ah on a Friday.
A little to read each day
• Hundreds of hadith on prayer, fasting, dhikr, dua, charity and character — each with the Arabic, a translation and its source.
• The names of Allah with their meanings and a recitation to play, an ayah a day with its translation, and hundreds of stories from the lives of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), including the ten promised Paradise.
• Quizzes on the names of Allah and on the companions.
• Home-screen widgets: a card that turns on its own through the hadith, the names, the ayahs and the stories, and a row of what is next.
Keep track
• Tick each reminder off as you do it, and see how you are going — per day, per deed, per reminder — in the Tracking tab.
• Answer it from the notification itself: "Willing to do" for the intention, "Done" when it is done.
At-Tadā'ī — the dua wall
• Ask the ummah to make dua for you, and say ameen to a stranger's. Every dua is translated into your language and read by nobody who could know who wrote it.
Sunnah Helper Plus — optional
Nothing that is worship is behind it. Prayer times, the adhan, every reminder and tracking itself are free and unlimited, forever. Plus adds depth: every adhan, unlimited custom deeds and reminders, a year of tracking history, unlimited quizzes and the quiz log, more home-screen widgets and a custom theme, a faster pace on the dua wall, and cloud backup of everything across your phones. $3.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 7-day free trial.
Private by design
Your prayer times, reminders and tracking are computed and kept on your device. There are no ads. Sign in only if you want your settings backed up, and delete your account from inside the app at any time.
