Description
Record and visualize physical phenomena using smartphone or tablet sensors. Measure sound, motion, light, and temperature. Connect external sensors like micro:bit and Arduino for advanced experiments.
FizziQ empowers students, teachers, and educators to explore physical phenomena and conduct scientific activities using the built-in sensors of smartphones and tablets.
With FizziQ, students can investigate sound, motion, light, kinematics, and much more. The app also supports a wide range of external sensors (micro:bit, Arduino, CO₂, temperature...) to deepen experimental exploration.
The app is structured around four complementary modules:
1. Measurement and Data Acquisition
Record and visualize data from sensors: acceleration, rotation, frequency, sound and light spectra, colors, GPS, magnetic field, speed, absorbance, pedometer, tilt…
Analyze motion through video and chronophotography.
2. Scientific Notebook
Build a complete scientific notebook with text, photos, tables, graphs, and formulas.
Export your work in PDF, CSV, Python, or FIZ formats.
3. Experimental Protocols
Create, edit, or follow interactive experimental protocols, easily shared via QR codes.
4. Experimental Tools
Interval timer, simultaneous sensor recording, sound and color synthesizers, triggers, calibration… A full-featured toolkit for scientific experimentation.
FizziQ promotes student autonomy, collaborative learning, and inquiry-based science education.
Available in over 15 languages.
