Find files faster. Review what’s taking up space.
iSearch makes it easy to search a chosen folder or drive, preview files, and take action from one place. Use quick filters to narrow your results, or open Free Up Space to discover files worth reviewing.

• Focus your search on a selected folder or drive.
• Quickly filter PDFs, images, folders, recently modified files, and files of 100 MB or more.
• Use filters with a keyword or on their own.
• Access recent searches and frequently used search locations.
BROWSE AND PREVIEW
• View file names, sizes, and paths.
• Preview supported documents, images, audio, and video.
• See details such as file kind, creation date, modification date, and last-opened date.

• Switch between A–Z and Z–A sorting.
• Follow search activity with progress indicators and status messages.
QUICK FILE ACTIONS
• Open files in their default apps.
• Reveal files in Finder.
• Copy file paths and share files through the contextual menu.
• Move unwanted files to Trash with confirmation.
FREE UP SPACE
• Choose a folder before opening the cleanup window.
• Review large files, old downloads, installers, and archives.
• Filter suggestions by category.
• Sort results by clicking column headers.
• Select a file to see its preview on the right.
• Review the combined size of selected files before moving them to Trash.
REMOVE DUPLICATES
• Use the dedicated Remove Duplicates option to scan a chosen folder.
• Identify identical files by comparing their contents.
• Keep one copy and review the extra copies before removal.
• See the path of the copy being kept.
• Confirm before moving extra copies to Trash.
Folder access permission is required to search or scan a selected location. Search results depend on macOS Spotlight indexing, and preview availability varies by file type.
Cleanup suggestions help you review files; they do not mean a file is unnecessary. Files moved to Trash can be restored until Trash is emptied. Available disk space may increase after emptying Trash.
