Dandy The Move

As students, we are spontaneous when it comes to throwing parties, hanging around, or deciding where to go out. That’s what’s magical about the social scene. Let's keep it that way, just simpler... Dandy is a social app that centralizes student’s shared experiences, where they can easily: 1. Create events: private or public with shareable links 2. Share moves: suggest spontaneous plans in a casual way (e.g.,“@Mike_Newman shared the move beers at Paper Plane bar!”) and, if public, see if it gains momentum when people like or share it 3. Form squads: social groups (e.g., dorms, frats, friend groups, teams, etc.) that you can invite to events and moves all at once This allows users to have real-time updates of what their friends are up to and facilitates the organization of experiences by eliminating the hustles and frictions of social planning.
