geoTIME offers an interface for managing and recording attendance through facial recognition and geofencing capabilities. Geofenced perimeters/boundaries in geoTIME are predefined/personalised by the solution administrator or person-in-charge (PIC) at your company or organization. When geoTIME users clock-in/clock-out within a specified geofenced boundary/perimeter, attendance will be recorded successfully. Otherwise, the attendance will be recorded as absent. Geofencing is a location-based service that uses Global Positioning System (GPS), a satellite-based navigation system, together with Wifi or mobile data to trigger a pre-programmed set of actions when a mobile device enters or exits a virtual boundary set up around a geographical location or a geofenced perimeter.
