Relay is a new platform for non-emergency safety concerns. No matter where you are in the United States, you can use Relay to get help when you need it. We're trying to encourage collaborative crime-prevention and crime-solving by establishing better relationships between police and their neighbors, before a safety concern even happens. With Relay, you report your safety concern and it's instantly routed directly to nearby first responders. Follow along as things progress with status updates, and even exchange messages with responding officers, so long as the responding agency is integrated with our platform. Our crime map shows incidents reported and safety broadcasts from police and other public safety personnel nearby, so you can be aware of safety concerns and crime trends in your area. Finally, you can sign up for alerts directly from public safety officials about hazards in your area, like pandemic updates, requests for crime tips, or warnings about break-ins, thefts, missing persons, and more. At Relay, we think about privacy a lot. In fact, it's in everything we do, and that includes our app. We only ask for permissions on your phone at the time they’re needed, and we work hard to make clear what happens with the information you share, when you’re choosing to share it, rather than burying it in some privacy policy.
