The Minnesota Power app offers users a quick, easy way to check on the status of power outages in their area, learn when their power will be restored or to report an outage. The app also links users to Minnesota Power’s MyAccount web page where they can view and pay their bill, monitor their electricity use, learn about energy-efficiency rebates and other offers, and more. Features: • Outage map displays area affected, number of customers affected, estimated time of power restoration and the possible cause of outages. Customers also can report an outage in their area. • Through the MyAccount link, customers can pay their bill, check on their energy use, view rebates and other offers, get energy-saving tips, find energy-assistance programs and more. • The contact page includes phone numbers, links to Minnesota Power social media pages (another great way to keep up to date on outages), a link to Minnesota Power’s outage and public safety web page, and a handy flashlight button that will turn your cellphone’s flashlight on if you are caught in the dark.
