Description

This application is developed in accordance with the National Standard of the People’s Republic of China — GB 6722-2014 “Blasting Safety Regulations”, and is designed to calculate the allowable safety distance of blasting vibration. Required Parameters: • K, α (Coefficient and Attenuation Index): Represent the influence of geological and topographical conditions between the blasting site and the protected object, determined through field tests. • V (Allowable Particle Velocity): The maximum particle velocity that the protected object can safely withstand at its location, measured in cm/s. • Q (Charge Weight of Explosives): The total explosive charge used for blasting; for delayed blasting, the largest single segment charge should be used, measured in kilograms (kg). Calculation Result: • R (Allowable Safety Distance): The minimum safe distance (in meters) ensuring that vibration from blasting does not exceed the allowable level for the protected object. Formula: R = (K / V)^(1/α) × Q^(1/3) This formula is widely applied in mining, tunneling, and construction blasting safety analysis to evaluate the potential impact of blasting vibrations on nearby structures and facilities.
