Description

Search jobs across Australia - free, and without an account. No password to forget and no CV to upload. Australian Jobs puts current listings in one place. Casual, shift, FIFO and seasonal work count for more here than in a lot of places, so you can search full-time, part-time, contract and remote roles, or type the hours you want. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Search by job title, keyword or employer name, and type a place into the location box - Narrow by job category, or by job type, such as Full-time, Part-time, Contract or Remote - Sort by relevance, or by date for the newest listings first - Browse by category, or by city from the app's own list of Australian locations - Save up to 20 searches and see what is new since you last looked - Switch on one daily reminder for the app, at a time you choose, scheduled on your phone - Track jobs through saved, applied, interviewing, offer and closed - Report a listing that looks wrong NO ACCOUNT, NO CV UPLOAD You are never asked to register, set a password or build a profile. The jobs you track stay on this device. Searching sends what you type to our search service, because that is how results come back. The only forms that ask anything about you are the report form and the contact form: a name and an email, so we can reply. WHERE THE JOBS COME FROM Listings come from employers and job boards advertising in Australia. Only listings posted in the last 45 days are listed, so what you read is current rather than an archive. A listing carries the employer's own description where they published one, and the pay where they advertised it. The app never estimates a salary. JOBS BY CITY AND TOWN The city list opens with nothing to type. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide are all there, and so are Canberra, the Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong. Darwin, Hobart, Cairns and Geelong are on it too, along with Townsville, Toowoomba, Ballarat and Bendigo. The mining and regional centres are on the same list as the capitals: Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland and Mount Isa. WHAT YOU CAN SEARCH FOR Plenty of people come at it by the hours rather than the job: part-time and casual work, weekend and night shift, or an entry-level role that asks for no experience. Apprenticeships and traineeships turn up too. Casual is a word you type into the search box rather than a setting in the filter sheet. Care and service work fills a lot of searches. Aged care and disability support work, nursing and enrolled nursing, childcare and early childhood education. Cleaning and security. Hospitality, kitchen and bar work, retail and checkout. Then there is the work that keeps the country running. Labouring and construction, and the trades: electrician, plumber, carpenter and diesel mechanic. Forklift, storeperson and warehouse picking. Truck driving and delivery driving. Mining and FIFO. Seasonal and fruit picking. Administration and data entry, call centre and customer service, and jobs you can do from home. HOW APPLYING WORKS Tap Apply and the employer's own page opens, so you apply with whoever posted the advert. We do not sit between you and them, take a fee, or handle your application. The job goes onto your list, and the app asks afterwards whether you applied rather than deciding for you. ALSO IN THE APP Seven career guides come with it: searching, fair pay, writing a CV, interviews, planning a next move, and one for employers. As you use the app the home screen fills up with jobs added today, what you looked at last, your saved searches and your applications. WHY IT IS FREE Advertising pays for the app, so there is nothing to pay and nothing to subscribe to. Where local rules require it, you are asked whether adverts may be personalised. Your choices sit in the menu under Advertising Choices. Free to search, nothing to sign up for. Start with a job title and a place.
