Percent Delay Calculator

In the field of Early Childhood Special Education, eligibility for services can be determined based on percentage delay in development. Each state has its own cut-off. To qualify for services in Alaska, a child with a delay of 50% or greater in one developmental domain qualifies for services. This app was developed for providers to calculate percentage delay. It is color-coded based on Alaska's eligibility requirements but any state may utilize the calculator to determine the percentage delay.
