The MyRush mobile application is a platform for keeping patients connected to and engaged with Rush Health Network in order to easily and collaboratively manage their health and wellness. The app provides many features such as access to the patient’s own electronic health record including procedures, medications and test results. It also connects patients to physicians within the network based on symptoms or even referrals. Visits can be scheduled right from the device whether it’s an in-person office appointment or a real-time, on-demand video visit. The application facilitates guided patient journeys specific to various diseases gently guiding a patient to resources, tools and education specific to their condition via context aware engagement. The app is also integrated with the Apple Health App using Apple's Healthkit capability to allow patients to download their medical records directly from the Rush EMR to their iPhone enabling them to review and share their medical records with doctors and other medical professionals.
