A California native, Alan named the restaurant “Lemonade” because of the bright and comforting feeling you get when you simply say the word. The original sunny day spot! An accomplished chef, Alan decided to ditch the upscale dining scene to launch the first Lemonade in West Hollywood in 2008, craving to create a chef-driven, contemporary approach to fine food. . . done fast. Alan’s confident yet relaxed concept has curated a loyal following and nurtured Lemonade into a neighborhood favorite. In 2009, Ian Olsen came on board to join Alan as Partner, forging a dynamic relationship that has helped to redefine the fast-casual dining experience for today’s food-savvy diners.
