Connect an OBD2 WiFi or BLE adapter to your vehicle and select it from the app. View the current sensor data. Load the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) and inspect the freeze frame data from when the error occured. The component monitoring can tell you about potential problems by showing contiguous and non-contiguous monitors as well as a detailed analysis of mode 6 diagnostics (if supported by your vehicle). If you can fix your vehicle yourself, reset the saved DTC. B) Load vehicle status files and try the functionality of the app. Tired of buying promising apps that don't work? Try this app for free by loading a vehicle status file instead of connecting it to an adapter. C) Share your vehicle status with others and discuss solutions. With this app, you can capture the state of your vehicle including all DTCs and sensor data – either for later diagnostics or to share with other people. D) For developers: Use this app as BLE-OBD2-ScanTool instead of an expensive hardware simulator. Are you developing an OBD2-ScanTool and not having access to dozens of vehicles with their protocols? This app can work as a BLE-OBD2-ScanTool adapter, sparing you the cost of a professional hardware simulator. E) For learning: Use this app as BTLE/WiFi Bridge and inspect the protocol communication. If you want to learn about the OBD2 protocol communication, you can use your BTLE dongle and bridge it via WiFi to another OBD2 app (this requires an iPad Pro where you can run two apps side-by-side or another physical phone or tablet). === Supported Bluetooth hardware === Please note that this App will _not_ work with Bluetooth 2.x or 3.x adapters! This is a hardware limitation which can't be changed. Many very cheap BTLE OBD2 adapters are not Bluetooth 4.0, so please be aware of that. === Closing Note === OBD2-Expert is not a oneshot project.
