Hello, Apple!
The PSYCKES iOS Application is funded and developed by the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene (RFMH) Inc. which is a not for profit corporation affiliated with the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH).
It is used by roughly 10000 physicians, clinicians, and social workers, throughout New York State to aid in clinical decision making and quality improvement for Medicaid enrollees. With PSYCKES, authorized users can view medical information for clients in the NYS Medicaid system. This information includes behavioral health data, general medical data, and information about prior services and treatment that clients have received. PSYCKES login is protected by a dual-factor authentication in which users have a unique user ID, PIN, and token passcode (described below).
Due to HIPPA regulations, and the sensitive nature of the information stored in the PSYCKES system, we cannot display client data without signed consent. In order to facilitate review of our application, we are providing a user ID and password which will ONLY expose static, non-identifying, client data. All client information will be displayed as follows:
John Doe
Male
09/23/1989
36 Years Old
1st Main St, New York, NY 10118
All other clinical data will display as static (not real) information. In production, access to PSYCKES is granted by a security manager and authentication requires a token-based passcode. Each user ID has an associated role which will determine available functionality. A limited set of user roles are allowed to enter data using the mobile app for individual clients and make that data available to other PSYCKES users. The user ID and password we are providing you with will not be able to access those data entry features, for client confidentiality reasons. Per Apple review guidelines we have instead provided a video of these features:
- Enabling PHI Access
- Safety Plans
- Assessments
- De-Identify
- User Role Profile
Some tips:
- When searching with Medicaid ID, the ID should be formatted with two alpha characters, followed by five numeric digits, followed by one alpha character. For example: AA12345B, CC98765A, BB23456W.
- When searching by Name/DOB and OMH State Id/OMH Case Number any combination of search inputs will result in a single match on "John Doe".
