Interstate Credit Union

At Interstate Credit Union, we don’t sell products, we build relationships. From major milestones like home buying and retirement to everyday transactions like bread and milk, your financial institution plays an important role behind the scenes of your life. This is why our focus is about enhancing the quality of life. We serve anyone that lives, works, worships or is a student in Wayne, Appling, Liberty, Long, Jeff Davis or Bacon counties (Georgia, USA). Interstate Credit Union was chartered in 1968 by a group of employees from Interstate Paper LLC in Riceboro, Georgia. Our company was only able to serve employees of Interstate Paper LLC and we did so from a shoebox at John and Emma Jean Boatwright’s house in Jesup, Georgia. Since then, we have merged with Appling Citizens Federal Credit Union and Wayne Teachers Credit Union and have opened four branch locations, Jesup, Baxley, Midway, and Hazlehurst.
